In cooperation with a special service provider we offer an online reservation and booking system for all types of vacation or long-term rentals, for example apartments, hotel rooms, lodges etc. The reason for doing this within a cooperation is, that our website targets a special audience, but for example a hotel should be able to target a wider range of visitors. So we had to decide, whether we should establish such a service outside of or portal and then integrate it into it or we should use an already established service provider. We decided to cooperate with and integrate an already well established service: Planyo.

Your Advantages

The most important thing for a visitor searching for example an appartment is being able to check the availability. So it doesn't matter which service or service provider you would implement, you always would have to maintain the booking data of your properties in order to reflect the availability. Doing this in Planyo offers you to maintain your complete booking process including check-in, additional services and check-out. So, if you do not have a special software for doing this, Planyo will give you the possibility to manage your bookings. If you do have a special software, you will be able to connect to Planyo using a special interface.

After you own a Planyo site on the one hand you will be able to integrate special reservation and booking forms into your own website, which enable your visitors to check the availability of your properties online and, if they found what they need, book (and even pay) them online too.

On the other hand websites which offer a business directory and which are connected to Planyo, like our website, will show the reservation and booking forms according to your property within your listing too.

Additionally there are so called Meta Sites, which are special portals for vacation or long-term rentals. Owning a Planyo account will enable you to connect your Planyo site to such Meta Sites. After doing this, your properties will be listet within the connected Meta Sites. Our website is a Meta Site of Planyo offering all types of vacation and long-term rentals in British Columbia, so if you connect your Planyo site to our Meta Site, then your property will get included in our available resources list for British Columbia and therefore could be booked online.

What does it cost

You need a Planyo PRO account to get connected like described above. But there is an alternative account type which is called PRO-COMM. To use this, you must define fixed prices for your properties, which you could certainly override with special offers or discounts. Using PRO-COMM will not charge your account with a monthly fee, but there is a 1.5% commision to pay for all online booked reservations. There is no commision to pay if you enter reservations which you got by phone or similiar.

Getting your Planyo site linked to your business listing on our website or our Meta Site is free of charge.

How to do

To get a Planyo PRO-COM account you simply need to register on Planyo. The first month will be for free in any way. After the first month you will have to decide whether you want to pay a monthly subscription fee or you want to pay a commision for all online booked reservations.

After receiving your Planyo site ID, you should enter it into your business listing on our website. On the one hand this will display the Planyo forms within your business listing, on the other hand our system will connect your Planyo Site to our Meta Site, so your property will be listet after a few days.
