Aenderungen beim Federal Skilled Worker Programm
Hallo zusammen!
Kann jemand erklären, was unter "1122 Professional Occupations in Business Services to Management" und "7215 Contractors and Supervisors, Carpentry Trades" zu verstehen ist? Gibt es irgendwo eine genauere Beschreibung dieser Kategorie? Wie kann ich herausfinden, ob mein deutscher Job in diese Kategorie fällt?
Ich persönlich habe schon in Deutschland Schwierigkeiten, meinen Job zu erklären - offizieller Jobtitle ist "Product Marketing Manager". Darin mache ich auf der Arbeitsebene (also nicht Management bzw. Leadership) alles Mögliche rund um meine Produkte. Das geht vom Kunden betreuen über Angebote kalkulieren und schreiben bis hin zu Sortimentspflege, Promotion und Entwicklungsbegleitung. Oft renne ich auch der Ausführung von dringenden Bestellungen hinterher, aber am allermeisten beschäftige ich mich mit Problem Solving und natürlich Reporting zu den Chefs hin.
Also kann jetzt jemand sagen, ob ich in "Professional Occupations in Business Services to Management" hineinfalle?
Bei "Contractors and Supervisors, Carpentry Trades" wüsste ich gerne, ob sich mein Freund als Schreiner für diese Kategorie qualifizieren könnte.

Hallo Mandy,
mit 1122 muesst ihr euch aber etwas beeilen, weil die Quote fuer 2010/2011 fast erreicht ist. Ansonsten heisst es warten bis Juli 2011.

Hallo Helmut,
vielen Dank - das ist sehr hilfreich! In 1122 könnte ich mich vielleicht hineinquetschen, da ich auch Business Plans erstelle und Market Reseach betreibe. 7215 ist allerdings etwas höher angesiedelt als zuerst gedacht. Da passen wir wohl nicht rein.

1122 Professional Occupations in Business Services to Management
This unit group includes those who provide services to management such as analyzing the operations, managerial methods or functions of an organization in order to propose, plan and implement improvements, or analyzing advertising needs and developing appropriate advertising plans. They are employed by management consulting firms, advertising agencies and throughout the public and private sectors or are self-employed.

Main duties
Management consultants perform some or all of the following duties:

This group also includes supervisors who supervise and co-ordinate the activities of workers classified in the following unit groups: Carpenters (7271) and Cabinetmakers (7272). They are employed by construction companies, carpentry contractors, maintenance departments of industrial establishments, and custom furniture and fixture manufacturing or repair companies.

* Requisition materials and supplies
